I took my time getting up this
morning and had breakfast at the Royal Club Lounge. Good as
usually. I emailed the general manager of the Le Meridien
Pyramids, thanking him for having such a wonderful hotel and
such great staff. I really enjoyed my visit.

Hani picked me up at 12:00 pm and
we headed for the airport. Cairo traffic was tough as usual. The
bag carriers at the airport are very aggressive. Like I need
their help, but whatever. I got checked-in and headed towards
passport control. New rule: Always carry an ink pen with you.
I've got one, but I checked my bag. I had to get out of line,
fill out my form, and go through the line again. I exchanged
my money. He gave me travelers checks, which I don't need or
want.
Well, besides that, it had been an amazing trip to Egypt. I
got to see the Pyramids, see Islamic and Coptic Cairo, visited
Alexandria, had some great food, and had a wonderful trip. Here
are some of the pictures that I liked for Egypt.

I've got about 2 hours in the
airport to kill, no Egyptian pounds, and a bad attitude. No
lounge for me to wait in, just hanging out with all the common
people, lol. Egypt has been great. I would recommend for anyone to
come here.
My flight to Zurich was fairly quick. I watched the movie
'Hero'. Getting through the Zurich airport was a breeze. They
look at your passport for about 3 seconds, no paperwork to
fill-out, pick up your bag, then walk out.
We have a corner room, with both windows facing the lake
(well, it is somewhat of a view). If it gets too cold tomorrow,
we can watch the fireworks from our room.
A good day! |
