Well, today is a very simple day for us. Since it is raining, we are
unable to go on the Zip line. Instead, we relax at the hotel until
it time to check out. Lisa talks to a very nice lady from Boston, we
surf the web a bit, then we call for our taxi around noon. The
flight doesn't leave until 2:10 PM.

By the time we are ready to go, the rain has stopped. Our taxi
arrives and off we go to the airport in Quepos. Once there, it's a
new experience for me. The terminal is a large hut, with two
counters - one for Nature Air
and one for Sansa. We are
flying Nature Air today. Nature Air's website is a little easier to
use, plus they were the ones we were going to fly from Arenal. FYI -
you can only have one bag with 30 pounds, otherwise you have to pay.
If you need more baggage, just plan on paying the $25 and be happy.

The plane shows up, the pilot says sit anywhere you want, and away
we go. I really like the smaller planes. It's a
DeHavilland
Twin Otter (DHC-6) - which are a little noisy, but both Lisa and
I have our Bose headphones on - very nice. The cool thing is they
fly pretty low, so you can see all sorts of amazing things.

Once we land, into a Nature Air taxi for a ride back to the Marriott
- I think it cost $18 from the airport to the hotel. The one thing
you should consider when flying Nature Air, is that they fly to a
different airport in San Jose than the international airport. They
aren't horrible far apart, probably 20 minutes.br>
WWe intentionally left laundry at the Marriott, so for our return
flight, we would have clean clothes and not have to carry them with
us. I had told them the wrong date of our return, plus they tried to
return them to the wrong room. And, they didn't return our underwear
or socks. Oh well, we had clean underwear and socks and I didn't
feel like bothering with it. We had dinner in our room, which was
actually pretty good. A couple of good ole' American cheeseburgers.

We packed our bags the night before, put our heads
to sleep, and dreamt of our next journey.
