The Reynolds' Family Photo Album - Page 3

Pictures of my grandfather - Earl Augustus Reynolds

Seems to be the earliest picture of granddad made in Kingfisher, OK Granddad as a toddler, also made in Kingfisher, OK Studio shot while living in Cashion, OK W1-4  military

Quoting from a Clovis News-Journal article of October 8, 1939..........."Reynolds was but 16 years old when, desperately in need of work, he took the job of dishwasher at the Harvey House in Syracuse, Kansas.......and in a year and a half had worked his way up to the position of chef." He moved to Belen and from there to the military for the service during WWI. When he got out he went to the Clovis Harvey House and was chef until it closed in the 40's.

This is the hotel FW Reynolds managed in the early 1900's.......torn down in the 60's.  FW is on the left.

Alby Vesly (later Reynolds) is the Harvey girl on the right (Clovis, NM, 1921)

Earl Augustus Reynolds, chef, is on the right in the staff picture
